SCHOOL COMMITTEE CLERK Stipend position
METHUEN PUBLIC SCHOOLSVACANCY NOTICETITLE: SCHOOL COMMITTEE CLERK - Stipend positionASSIGNMENT: Central officeQUALIFICATIONS:High School graduate with at least two years of progressively responsible secretarial work; one year having been in the public sector or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge services and abilities to perform the duties of the with computers including Google Apps Microsoft OfficeEffective interpersonal and written communication skills are with Roberts Rules of Order preferredDUTIES:Included:Attend all scheduled school committee meetings - 2 per month with additional special meetings scheduled throughout the required clerical support for meetings of the School Committee and its various subcommittees including by:Attending meetings of the Committee and its subcommittees recording the official minutes of every meetingPreparing official minutes of every Committee and subcommittee meeting for subsequent review and approval by the CommitteeEnsuring the access to School Committee meeting documents on the district website by submitting all approved minutes to the Director of Technology for posting in a timely : $30/hour for attendance at scheduled school committee meetings completing minutes for approval and assuring the school committee website minutes are up to date in a timely BY INVITATION ONLYMETHUEN SCHOOL DEPARTMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER AND SERVICE PROVIDERThe Methuen Public Schools prohibits discrimination on the basis of race color sex gender identity religion national origin or sexual orientation and ensures that all students and employees have equal rights of access and equal enjoyment of the opportunities advantages privileges and courses of study.
