As a content writer, you'll collaborate with our Customer Success team to create educational materials designed to ensure Brand Reps have the knowledge they need to succeed.

Our established content process and writing guide will give you essential insights and support, freeing you to focus on writing. Your content will be integrated into our learning management system, and if you're interested in exploring the LMS directly, we'll support you in expanding your skills.

Job Description: LMS Content Writer (Contractor)

We're seeking an experienced Content Writer to join ThirdChannel on a flexible, 15–20 hour per week basis. The ideal candidate will be available during standard business hours (9 AM–5 PM) to collaborate with our team and contribute to content creation across our growing portfolio of brands. This role is perfect for a highly-skilled writer who excels in critical thinking, reading comprehension, and producing precise, engaging learning content. You'll work with our Content Strategy team to transform creative briefs into high-quality deliverables tailored to our learning management system, LearnWorlds.

Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and refine LMS content according to project needs. Project needs will be clearly documented by our business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with our internal team to ensure all content aligns with ThirdChannel's standards and the distinct brand objectives of our partners.
• Translate complex information into clear, accessible content for various learning audiences. At times this may require collaborating with our business partners to ensure content is digestible and memorable following training.
• Apply feedback constructively and show adaptability in your work.
• Be open and flexible to evolving responsibilities pertaining to the process, such as deploying content in our system.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in content writing
• High proficiency with Google Drive and related tools
• Strong critical thinking, reading comprehension, and writing abilities
• A background in retail or familiarity with retail environments
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and produce on-target content deliverables
• Receptive to feedback and continuous learning

Preferred Skills:

• Technical skill with LMS platforms or similar educational technologies is valuable, but an openness to learning and trying new tools is equally encouraged.
