Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Clinical Patrol in Milton, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Healthcare Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, following post orders and healthcare location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe foot traffic to help to deter unauthorized entry, assist with directions, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
- Support a professional environment by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
