Teacher - Early Childhood Education

We are seeking a thoughtful and engaging Teacher to join our collaborative school community. In this role, you will work with children ranging from 12 months through Pre-K, supporting their growth through play-based learning, strong relationships, and intentional teaching. This is an ideal opportunity for an educator who values connection, enjoys reflective practice, and wants to be part of a team that is deeply invested in both child and teacher development.

Responsibilities:

• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through hands on learning experiences.

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities aligned with curriculum and the Jewish calendar.

• Create a safe, nurturing, and well-organized classroom environment.
  Adapt activities to meet the needs of individual learners.

• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  Communicate regularly with families through daily updates, photos, and learning documentation.

• Participate in family engagement events and school community activities.
  Collaborate with teaching teams through regular planning meetings and coaching sessions.

• Maintain classroom routines, materials, and compliance with licensing and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Teaching certification from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care OR relevant coursework and experience.

• Minimum of 3–9 months of preschool or kindergarten teaching experience.

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

• Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Warm, responsive, and engaging approach with children and families.

• Ability to work as part of a reflective, team-oriented environment.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 10:15 am -6:15 pm
