Location: Auburn, MA

Job Type: Permanent - Direct Placement | Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: Up to $99,000 - Based on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to support and manage payroll operations within our organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, tax compliance, and year-end reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of payroll systems and regulations, along with a collaborative mindset to work within a two-person payroll team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.

• Manage tax payments and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Prepare and submit year-end reports and documentation.

• Support and guide team members involved in payroll processing.

• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP, Paychex, and COINS effectively.

• Ensure accurate data entry, including deductions and adjustments.

• Maintain organized and audit-ready payroll records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of payroll experience.

• Proficiency in payroll systems (ADP, Paychex, COINS).

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus.

• Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $99000.00/yr.

Will be provided by client once the person is offered.
