Part-Time Administrative Assistant, Corporate & Professional Education Campus Location: Danvers Work Schedule: Monday-Friday- 20 hours a week SALARY : $21.00 per hour, non-benefited position. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: The Part-Time Administrative Assistant for CPED is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to students, instructors, and clients by assisting the staff. This includes handling communications via phone, email, and voicemail; assisting with course registration; supporting instructors with necessary materials and documentation; and maintaining confidentiality in all administrative tasks. The role requires strong interpersonal, technical, and organizational skills, with a focus on efficiency and professionalism in a culturally diverse environment. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Greet and provide excellent customer service to students, instructors, and other clients.
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Retrieve, respond to, and manage voicemail and email messages; troubleshoot and prioritize inquiries as needed.
- Register and assist students with course enrollment through phone, in-person, or online using our registration system.
- Support instructors with materials, evaluations, certificates, and book information.
- Perform front office duties efficiently, including processing registrations and sending instructor and student reminders via email and phone.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Two years of administrative experience in a customer service environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Strong technical and database skills; experience with Banner or similar student information systems preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with standard office equipment and procedures.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or National background check as a condition of employment.
