As a valued educator, you will work full-time, with a schedule aligned to school hours from 8:25 AM to 3:30 PM, and contractual hours extending to 4:30 PM to accommodate meetings and essential responsibilities. Your expertise will directly impact the academic and social development of young learners, providing adapted instruction to help every student achieve their potential.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid special education teaching certification appropriate for instructing grades 3-5.
• Experience designing and implementing IEPs and differentiated instruction tailored to unique learning needs.
• Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to working alongside general education staff, aides, and families.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver standards-based lessons that address individual learning needs and IEP goals.
• Assess student progress, document growth, and communicate updates to parents and educational teams.
• Collaborate regularly with support staff and attend scheduled meetings until 4:30 PM as required.
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies and behavioral interventions to foster student engagement and success.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and state/federal regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to students both academically and emotionally within the school setting.
