It project manager associate
Title: IT Project Manager – Enterprise PMO (hybrid 3 days in office in Boston)
Salary range $80-$135K
We’re seeking a results-driven IT Project Manager to join a high-performing Project Management Office (PMO) that supports multiple business and technology functions for our financial services client. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and enjoys driving complex technology initiatives from planning through delivery.
Please note that we are looking for someone with 2-7 years of experience max for this role. This is is a mid level role.Key Responsibilities
Lead enterprise-level projects across multiple business and technology domains (e.g., capital markets, infrastructure, corporate platforms, and security).
Partner with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with business goals.
Manage project governance, reporting, and communications for key initiatives.
Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, and manage dependencies across cross-functional teams.
Identify and mitigate risks while driving accountability and transparency.
Prepare executive-level dashboards and progress reports for leadership.
Support PMO processes, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage project budgets, vendor relationships, and matrixed resources.
Qualifications
2-7 years of experience in IT project management, with a track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives within a financial services environment.
Background in technology implementation within a financial services environment.
Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, organized approach.
PMP certification, MBA, or Agile/Scrum experience a HUGE plus.
