Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a triage-focused Emergency Department position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Burlington, MA, requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- State-of-the-art Emergency Department with 44 beds across 45,000+ sq ft, including a fast-track area, behavioral health suite, private treatment rooms, imaging suite, and pharmacy
- Level 1 Trauma Center with a high-acuity patient population requiring immediate emergency and trauma care
- Triage RN role requiring triage-trained nurses to assess and prioritize incoming patients
- Charting and medication administration performed entirely in Epic
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hrs/week
- Every other weekend required
- 2 holiday shifts required
- No float requirement
- No charge nurse requirement
Requirements
- Active MA RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum of 6 years of RN experience required
- Triage training and experience required
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide emergency and trauma nursing care to patients with acute injuries and medical emergencies
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
- Previous employees of any Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility (travel, permanent, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered
- COVID vaccine and booster, as well as flu vaccine, are required (medical exemptions accepted)
- Candidates should be responsive to email, as the hiring manager will reach out via email to schedule an interview
- Excessive time-off requests will not be considered, particularly around holidays
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
