Administrative Assistant
Climate Engineering Companies is a heavy-duty truck and trailer repair company with multiple locations. We are looking for a motivated, hard-working individual to join our team in Springfield, MA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answer main phone line and direct calls to appropriate parties; record and deliver messages when calls cannot be transferred
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintain office supply levels
- Daily filing of various documents and organization of front desk area
- Cross-train among multiple departments to serve as alternative personnel coverage
- Enter and audit data in Microsoft Dynamics Navision
- Reconcile petty cash; create necessary deposits and withdrawals
- Provide backup for processing COD payments for service
- Serve as point-person for company cell-phone requests and issues
- Perform other duties and manage special projects as needed
Skills required:
- Computer skills – knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Interpersonal skills – ability to communicate well with coworkers and customers in a professional manner in person as well as via e-mail and phone
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Effective time management skills
- Experience using multi-line phone system preferred
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
