Mobile Service Technician
Stoneham Ford is looking for a Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team! We are the number 1 Ford Commercial Fleet Dealer in New England! We are looking for the right candidate that will be independent and have a strong service technician background. B-level technician qualifications and ASE certifications are preferred but not required. The day-to-day duties include traveling in the Mobile Service van to our commercial fleet customer workplaces and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls.
Qualifications
· Ford & Lincoln expertise helpful but not required
· Candidate should be independent and Strong Service Technician Background
· Valid driver’s license
· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
· Strong communication and customer service abilities
· Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile environment
· B-level technician qualifications and ASE certifications are preferred but not required

Responsibilities
· Work On the Move: Enjoy the freedom of working out in a fully-equipped mobile van, bringing service directly mainly to our commercial fleet customers
· Able to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsibly
· Traveling in the Mobile Service van to commercial fleet customers and homes to handle basic service needs and recalls
· Communicate with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Department and Dealer
Management regularly to effectively manage production and customer communication
· Organize and prepare for the day’s appointments and be excellent at time management
· Communicate with customers to advise of vehicle issues that will require a trip to the dealership;
· Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure high-quality service standards
· Maintain accurate records of service activities
· Ensure compliance with manufacturer’s specifications and safety standards during all repair and maintenance procedures
· Stay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required training
· Access PTS for all technician, vehicle capacities, specifications and OASIS Monitoring (searching for any FSA’s)
Requirements:
• Experience and training as an automotive technician. Ford & Lincoln expertise helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a mobile environment.
• Certification from a recognized automotive training program or vocational school, and/or ASE or similar certification is preferred. Benefits:
