Quality Control
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and testing of incoming auto parts to verify their compliance with established quality standards. This includes checking for dimensional accuracy, material quality, and overall functionality.
- Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document inspection results, test findings, and any deviations from quality specifications. Prepare detailed reports and maintain records of quality control activities for future reference.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of manufacturing and distribution processes to identify potential areas for improvement. Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and prevent quality issues.
- Quality Control Procedures: Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and guidelines throughout the organization. Participate in the development and implementation of standardized processes to maintain consistent product quality.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify and document non-conforming products or processes and initiate appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of quality control practices by actively participating in meetings, providing feedback, and suggesting innovative ideas to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to employees regarding quality control procedures, product specifications, and inspection techniques. Help foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Compliance and Regulation: Stay up to date with industry regulations and standards related to aftermarket auto parts. Ensure compliance with all applicable quality requirements, such as ISO standards, safety regulations, and customer-specific specifications.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree or certification in a related field (e.g., quality control, automotive technology) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related role within the automotive industry is advantageous. Familiarity with aftermarket collision auto parts and their quality requirements is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously analyze and assess product quality against established standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of quality issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to report findings, document procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and engage with employees at all levels of the organization to achieve quality goals.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with quality control methods, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to automotive parts, such as ISO 9001.
