Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling electrical control panels to meet customer specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality assurance in order to ensure the functionality and reliability of control panels.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control panels according to customer orders.
• Wire control panels, ensuring proficiency with devices such as switches, meters, analyzers, and transmitters.
• Maintain necessary U.L. and other quality control files.
• Layout components in various sized cabinets.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Potentially assume a lead role on customer projects.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of a high school education.
• Technical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desired.
• 3+ years of experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools for drilling, tapping, and assembling electrical panels.
• Proficiency in reading and working from blueprints/schematics.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Quality Assurance experience.
• IPC certification and training is a plus.
• Experience with ladder logic schematics.
• Ability to operate hand tools efficiently.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
