Fire Alarm Lead Technician

Job Opening: Fire Alarm Technician Lead *This is a relocation opportunity in Raleigh, NC. We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, programming, and commissioning of fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: + Install fire alarm cabling, conduit, and devices (notification and initiating) + Troubleshoot circuit issues such as ground faults and open circuits + Program fire panels when adding devices or installing new systems + Conduct pre-tests and final inspections with local authorities + Provide customer training and complete required documentation + Collaborate with project managers and attend site meetings + Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Qualifications: + Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire alarm installation and service + Ability to read and interpret blueprints + Experience with systems such as Gamewell FCI, Fire-Lite, and Silent Knight + NICET Fire Alarm Systems certification preferred + Strong communication and time management skills + High school diploma or equivalent Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
