A Brief Overview

We are currently seeking a Manager, Strategic Planning & Operations to join our team to drive a holistic consumer experience across all ASICS branded properties. The role is responsible for driving a holistic strategic point of view and plan for our growing North American business, driving from ideation through implementation. This includes but is not limited to brand strategy, content planning, new consumer experiences, operational execution of key seasonal product launches, engagement planning, promotional planning, and streamlining processes of our OneASICS Loyalty program. The Manager of Strategic Planning & Operations is key on the ASICS Brand Marketing team, playing a vital role in successfully integrating holistic business strategies through all consumer touchpoints. To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, hitting deadlines to meet business objectives, and working cross-functionally with internal key stakeholders across design, buying, merchandising, business analytics, marketing, and operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a consumer-centric experience and be highly articulate when it comes to communicating with cross-functional partners. This role will ensure that every consumer touchpoint is considered in our planning process and ensure successful execution across the team. This role will be a change agent and will drive new processes and approaches that will challenge the status quo.

What You'll Do

  • Define, lead, and streamline the strategy for the holistic approach of product launches, key brand moments and activations, and the OneASICS loyalty program while coordinating with all cross-functional teams: buying, planning, business analytics, merchandising, marketing, operations and creative.
  • Work collaboratively with project stakeholders to develop effective strategies and rollout plans. Setting expectations and aligning the team to executional targets.
  • Assist in content planning and execution from brief to asset hand off across all major brand marketing and direct to consumer touchpoints.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy to ensure all agreed upon executions are upheld with cross-functional teams.
  • In conjunction with leadership, review key KPIs to help make informed decisions regarding future strategies and implementations.
  • Management of end-to-end marketing calendar and tracking.

  • Ability to travel within the Domestic U.S. and internationally if needed.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Marketing, Communication or a combination of education, work experience and training required
  • 0-2 years Experience managing direct reports or equivalent training and experience required
  • 7-9 years of proven experience in sports industry marketing, operations, or strategy roles required
  • 3-5 years understanding of the creative briefing, execution process, eCommerce and brand marketing DTC experience preferred
  • Self-motivated and outstanding organizational skills: including the ability to effectively prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Microsoft office and Mac platform proficiency (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required
  • Ability to problem-solve, make effective judgments, and think critically to make the best decision for the business
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and approaches

SALARY / PAY RANGE:

$90,000-$100,000
