Position Overview

We are seeking dependable, compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide non-medical support with daily living activities in clients’ homes throughout the Greater Boston area. Opportunities are available across Middlesex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and Essex Counties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, organizing)
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide medication reminders (non-medical only)
• Escort clients to appointments and errands
• Provide toileting, incontinence care, and safe mobility/transfers
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team

Qualifications

• PCA, HHA, or caregiving experience preferred (minimum 1 year of hands-on experience is a plus)
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass a CORI background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience with specialized care (e.g., Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, hospice, developmental disabilities) is a plus
• Ability to safely lift and assist clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to follow care plans and agency policies
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping and meal preparation
• Genuine passion for helping others

Work Environment

Care is provided in clients’ homes, with varying levels of independence. This is a non-medical role focused on personal care, companionship, and support with daily living activities.
