Job Description Summary
The Medical Equipment Supply Chain Associate, under general supervision of the Supply Chain Supervisor will support the daily par replenishment and cleaning of medical equipment related to operations of SSH. The associate will be proficient in the use of the RFID medical equipment tracking system. The associate will represent the department in a positive and professional manner.
Job Description
Par replenish identified medical equipment for all assigned medical equipment par locations.
Use the RFID tracking system to identify replenishment levels.
Clean all medical equipment as required by the IFUs.
Maintain the Storeroom medical equipment inventory.
Identify all medical equipment repair needs to BioMed.
Support supply par replenishment when needed.
Alert Supervisor of any break down in medical equipment protocols.
Must be able to demonstrate a high level of service delivery; do what is necessary to ensure customer satisfaction; deal with service failures and prioritize customer needs.
Able to act in accordance with established guidelines; follow standard procedures in crisis situations; communicate and enforce organizational policies and procedures; recognize and constructively conform to unwritten rules or practices.
Maintains appropriate documentation and participates in process improvements and quality improvement programs.
Able to be alert in a high-risk environment; follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitor gauges, instruments, or processes; concentrate on routine work details and organize and maintain a system of records.
Able to take responsibility for actions and outcomes and persist despite obstacles; be available around the clock in case of emergency; give long hours to the job; demonstrate dependability in difficult circumstances and show a sense of urgency about getting results
Embraces technology solutions for work practice and processes. Utilize information systems, telecom services, and office equipment to maximize efficiencies and levels of support given to the assigned area.
Fosters a "Culture of Safety" through personal ownership and commitment to a safe environment.
Maintain equipment (clean and service as required) to ensure compliance with SMDA and JCAHO regulations.
Responds to emergency supply, and equipment request.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Participates in continued learning and possess a willingness and ability to learn and utilize new technology and procedures that continue to develop in their role and throughout the organization.
Embraces technological advances that allow us to communicate information effectively and efficiently based on role.
