Position Description
The Program Manager is responsible for leading complex, multi-workstream programs within a commercial real estate or facilities management environment. This role is highly client-facing and requires exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and governance capabilities. The Program Manager acts as the primary point of coordination between clients, internal delivery teams, and external partners, ensuring programs are executed consistently, transparently, and in line with strategic objectives.
This position is well-suited to an individual who can operate confidently with senior stakeholders, translate client needs into structured delivery plans, and provide clear, concise executive-level reporting.
Some of the core responsibilities for this role include:
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted client partner, building strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Facilitate client governance meetings, steering committees, and executive updates.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships across multiple teams and vendors.
- Act as the primary escalation point for program-level issues, risks, and decisions.
Program Leadership & Delivery
- Lead multiple related projects as a coordinated program.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across real estate, facilities, finance, and operations.
- Ensure delivery follows a structured program management methodology.
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, and dependencies.
Communication & Reporting
- Produce executive-level dashboards, reports, and presentations.
- Lead regular status meetings with clear documentation of actions and decisions.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Governance, Risk & Controls
- Establish and manage program governance structures.
- Ensure compliance with client and internal policies.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, and interdependencies.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certification desirable.
- Proven program management experience in real estate or professional services.
- Strong client-facing and senior stakeholder management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to support the planning and organization of projects.
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient with Office 365 and general computing.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
