Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Job Type: Contract

Shift: Nights (3×12s)

Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Local Pay Range: $35–$38/hr

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Cardiology Diagnostic Technician to support cardiac diagnostic services and specimen collection during night shifts. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality EKGs, Holter monitors, stress tests, and phlebotomy tasks while maintaining accurate documentation, patient safety, and excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood and clinical specimens with proper patient identification and safe transport.

• Perform non-invasive cardiology tests including EKGs, Holter monitors, and stress tests.

• Educate patients on collection procedures and ensure proper documentation for all services.

• Complete test orders, billing details, and maintain accurate entries in hospital information systems.

• Support workflow by communicating order changes, testing updates, and technical issues.

• Follow PPE and hospital safety protocols at all times.

• Assist nursing units with specimen collection when needed.

• Train and orient new staff or students as directed.

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and QA data collection.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

• Deliver service excellence aligned with organizational values.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Grade S8 / Job Code 7053

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

• Completion of a Medical Terminology course or equivalent exam.

• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• BLS certification required.

• Acute care hospital experience preferred.

• Eligibility for PBT (ASCP) Certification.

Grade S8A / Job Code 7054
Includes all S8 qualifications, plus:

• Certification in either EKG or Phlebotomy.

Grade S9 / Job Code 7133
Includes all S8 qualifications, plus:

• Certification in both EKG and Phlebotomy.
