Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S, and 990 forms
• Supervise, train, and review work of junior tax staff to ensure quality and compliance
• Advise clients on tax-saving strategies, business planning, and regulatory compliance
• Stay current on tax law changes and apply them effectively in client work
• Support audit preparation and maintain clear client communication during audits and reviews

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a public accounting firm environment
• Proven ability to review tax filings and lead teams effectively
• CPA license required or actively pursuing CPA certification

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with CCH Axcess and QuickBooks software
• Experience preparing nonprofit tax returns (Form 990)
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and excellent client communication skills
