Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to provide support across multiple areas within the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general ledger functions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with general ledger account maintenance and journal entries
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
Prepare and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness
Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities
Provide support for internal audit requests and financial documentation
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient financial workflow
Perform additional accounting-related tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of overall relevant experience
Familiarity with Commonwealth of Massachusetts (COMM of MA) state accounting systems
