• Position Type: Contract

• Contract Duration: Approximately 26 weeks

• Start: ASAP

• Pay Rate: $20 – $25 per hour

Job Summary:
The Assembler performs hands-on assembly of precision opto-mechanical and electro-optical components and subsystems . This role involves reading and interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams, and instructions to assemble, install, and troubleshoot high-quality components. The assembler ensures all products meet engineering and production standards while maintaining accuracy, precision, and adherence to defined procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and test electronic and opto-mechanical systems according to production drawings and work instructions.

• Perform bonding and curing procedures for complex optical and electronic assemblies.

• Operate test equipment, instruments, and automated test documentation systems.

• Conduct inspections and verifications to ensure assembled components meet quality and performance standards.

• Repair and troubleshoot assemblies as needed to maintain production quality.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in a related technical assembly or manufacturing field.

• Proven ability to learn on the job and follow complex work instructions.

• Experience with hand soldering and cable assembly for prototype development and troubleshooting.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• PCB assembly experience preferred.

• Familiarity with electro-optical systems or precision manufacturing environments.

Required Skills:

• Hand soldering and cable assembly proficiency.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation .

Preferred Skills:

• Use of electronic test equipment and measurement tools.

• Experience in opto-mechanical or electro-optical production environments.

• Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills:

• Ability to follow defined production and verification procedures.

• Operate in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
