Position Summary:
Seeking a Microbiology Technologist to perform diagnostic microbiology testing and support infection prevention efforts within a high-volume acute care laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bacterial cultures, organism identification, and antimicrobial susceptibility testing

• Utilize both automated and manual microbiology methodologies

• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and ensure accurate documentation

• Collaborate with infection control and clinical teams as needed

• Ensure precision, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Active Florida MT or MLT license with microbiology experience

• Minimum 1 year of acute care microbiology laboratory experience

• No employment gaps exceeding 1 year
