Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Falmouth, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift: 40 Hours/Week | Day/Evening Shift | 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule Requirements: Rotating Weekends & Holidays
Pay Rate: $3,000 – $3,600 Weekly Gross
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality computerized tomography procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation protection and imaging standards. This position requires excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scanning procedures as ordered by physicians
- Operate CT imaging equipment and related peripheral devices
- Position patients accurately and select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols
- Monitor image quality and ensure accurate radiology documentation
- Administer or assist with contrast media procedures in accordance with facility policies
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and departmental guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff during procedures
- Provide patients with clear explanations of procedures and compassionate care throughout imaging exams
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report technical issues as needed
- Support efficient workflow within the imaging department while prioritizing patient safety
Requirements
- Current ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist certification required
- Valid Massachusetts Radiation Control License required
- CT Certification or current ARRT CT registration required
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience or 3 years of Radiologic Technologist experience required
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Program required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong communication, technical, and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
