The Retail Assistant reports to the Hospitality Manager as well as the Assistant Hospitality Managers and will be responsible for ensuring that retail operations flow efficiently and smoothly for both the team and guests. This person will provide ultimate support for the Retail Team to help carry out our overall mission to make the best beverages in the world and to serve them in the most friendly and memorable environment possible. This position is Seasonal, based in Tewksbury and pays $17.00/hr.

As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for the following:

• Providing a clean, welcoming, educated experience for all guests
• Assisting retail team members in stocking pack off table with cans in a calm and professional manner
• Keeping track of can case inventory in coolers and outside on retail can sale floor
• Collecting all used glassware both inside and outside the facility
• Running the dishwashers for bar service
• Help to maintain a clean bar area for all guests
• Assist in trash clean up both inside and outside facility, and dispose of properly
• Assist in re-stocking merchandise shelves as requested
• Assist in parking help as requested and other facilities tasks such as:
  • Welcoming guests onto the property and maintain a presence outside and making yourself present and available to guests for questions, concerns, or rides to their car
  • Providing information calmly and professionally to guests on where to appropriately park their vehicle
  • Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximized.
  • Direct motorists to parking areas or parking spaces, using hand signals or flashlights as necessary
  • Professionally and tactfully letting guests know if they are violating a Tree House policy for example, open cans on premises or parking in undesignated areas
  • Maintain proper signage in correct places around the facility
• Assist in overall bathroom cleanliness and stocking
• Additional ad hoc tasks as requested by your supervisor

This role requires you to stand, repeatedly lift and carry up to 50lbs, and go in and out of the refrigerated cold box for the entirety of your shifts.

Role Requirements:

• 6+ months of professional experience
• Must be 18+ years of age or older at time of application
• Ability to works nights, weekends, and holidays strong preferred
• You are driven, self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard working attitude
• An innate helpful nature and a desire to be a strong, reliable team player with a willingness to go the extra mile
• A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
• Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situations
• Must be able to tactfully communicate with guests as needed
• Must be punctual and responsible with one's time
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed
• Meticulous attention to detail when it comes to keeping the grounds clean
• You are not afraid to speak your mind
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday.
