New England Academy of Gymnastics is looking for enthusiastic, positive, and dependable Recreational Gymnastics Coaches to join our growing team! If you enjoy working with children, staying active, and helping young athletes build confidence and skills, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Whether you're an experienced gymnastics coach or have a background in gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, athletics, physical education, or youth sports, we'd love to hear from you. We provide paid training and ongoing coaching to help you succeed.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Afternoon, evening, and weekend hours
• Flexible scheduling available

What You'll Do

• Coach recreational gymnastics classes for children of various ages and skill levels.
• Teach fundamental gymnastics skills on vault, bars, beam, floor, trampoline, and other equipment as appropriate.
• Create a fun, safe, and encouraging learning environment where every child can succeed.
• Build athletes' strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence, and sportsmanship.
• Plan and lead engaging drills, skill progressions, and age-appropriate activities.
• Provide positive feedback and individualized instruction to help students reach their goals.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress.
• Set up and organize equipment before classes and maintain a safe training environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and academy policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in gymnastics is preferred.
• Experience in coaching, cheerleading, dance, tumbling, martial arts, physical education, youth sports, or related activities is a plus.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Positive attitude with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to motivate children while maintaining a safe and structured class environment.
• Comfortable being physically active, demonstrating skills, spotting athletes, lifting light equipment, and standing for extended periods.
