The Role You’ll be the heartbeat of our warehouse, ensuring our customers get exactly what they need. Your day-to-day includes:

• Precision Picking: Using voice commands or scanners to select frozen goods from multi-level racks.

• Building Pallets: Expertly stacking and shrink-wrapping orders for safe transport.

• Equipment Operation: Safely navigating the floor using electric pallet jacks.

• Staying Sharp: Maintaining high accuracy and meeting productivity goals while following strict safety and food-handling (SQF/HACCP) protocols.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Order Picking: Select cases of frozen goods from multi-level racks using order sheets, voice commands, or scanners.
• Pallet Building: Stack items on pallets, ensuring stability, correct placement, and securing with shrink wrap.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate electric pallet jacks or forklifts, performing pre-shift safety checks.
• Accuracy & Efficiency: Meet productivity standards and ensure correct items, quantities, and labels are used.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies, wear provided PPE (cold-weather gear), and report hazards.
• Staging: Move completed pallets to designated loading dock areas.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift varying case weights (often up to 50 lbs) and work in cold environments.
• Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurate order fulfillment.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with other warehouse staff.
• Equipment Proficiency: Experience with material handling equipment (Electric Pallet Jack, Reach Trucks) is required.
• Adaptability: Willingness to work in temperatures as low as -13°F to 36°F.

Work Environment

• Operates in a large distribution center or warehouse with distinct freezer sections.
• May involve working with HACCP/SQF (food safety) guidelines
