Estimator Project Manager

Estimator Opportunities

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to develop and manage preconstruction schedules, including milestones

• Coordinate work planning with Operations, Marketing, Business Development, and Executive teams

• Represent the estimating team during internal meetings, presentations, site visits, and owner/design/consultant meetings

• Create internal staffing budgets for specific projects

• Generate Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Lump Sum, GMP, and other contract schedules of values

• Perform quantity take-offs, annotations, assumptions, and qualifications

• Procure, distribute, manage, and analyze subcontractor bids

• Coordinate with Estimating support teams to confirm subcontractor bidding status

• Conduct scope review meetings with subcontractors

• Facilitate internal estimate reviews ahead of client presentations

• Develop, provide, and track Alternates/Value Engineering

• Work with local distributors to identify subcontractors for specified products

• Assist with change-order pricing

• Participate in subcontractor prequalification

• Develop and finalize scope packages

• Facilitate scope meetings with subcontractors, vendors, and project managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 3-5 years of estimating experience

• Experience with academic or multi-unit projects

• Proficiency with Bluebeam and Excel

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gloucester, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
