Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a well-respected organization in Berkshire County, MA providing group home services. Currently seeking full and part-time professionals to join their team on a contractual basis. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment while gaining valuable experience.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional across their various programs, you will play a vital role in providing services to adults with developmental disabilities and severe and persistent mental illness. You'll assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help individuals thrive in their communities.

Locations: Various locations

Start Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks to start with likelihood of extensionSchedule: All shifts available for full time and part time Pay Rate: $20/hrKey Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities

• Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration

• Support community integration and social activities

• Maintain a safe and supportive environment

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness preferred

• No experience required

• Must meet contract requirements:

• BLS Certification (Free on-site training available)

• Physical Exam

• Fingerprinting ($45 out-of-pocket, reimbursed)
