Pediatric Registered Dietitian II (Part-time)
Position Summary
The Nutrition Center at Boston Children’s Hospital is dedicated to providing infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with comprehensive nutrition assessments—an essential component of individualized care plans for a wide range of conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work across several multidisciplinary clinic settings, supporting diverse patient populations. The position is primarily in-person, with 3 days onsite split between our Longwood Ave location in Boston and one of our satellite sites in Needham, Waltham, or Weymouth. This position is available for 24 to 30 hours per week.
- Providing nutritional care to patients within specific inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Evaluating the medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs in order to develop and implement the most appropriate nutrition care plans.
- Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.
Education:
- A Bachelor‘s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics
- 3+ years of progressive experience in Dietetics with at least 2 years in pediatric nutrition
- Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian
- Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
