Accounts Payable Specialist
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Boston, MA. Duties:
- Accounts Payable Specialist will process invoice payments and maintain accurate transaction records
- Manage the accounts payable workflow from invoice receipt through payment
- Sort and organize incoming documents to ensure timely processing
- Enter invoice details into the system for tracking and payment
- As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will verify invoice accuracy and completeness before approval
- Prepare and issue payments for approved invoices
- Ensure all invoices have proper authorization prior to payment
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Experience with an enterprise accounting system
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet tools
- Ability to handle high-volume invoice processing
- Experience with tax reporting (e.g., 1099 processing)
- Familiarity with nonprofit accounting practices
