Deed and Filing Clerk

Thank you for considering this opportunity! We’re seeking a detail-oriented Deed Drafting and Filing Specialist to join our team part-time, hourly. This position is perfect for someone with experience in deed preparation, filing, detail orientated, and client communication who values precision and enjoys a collaborative in-office environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Drafting deeds with accuracy to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Filing deeds electronically through Simplifile in a timely and efficient manner.
• Managing certified mailings, including sending deeds for recording and verifying receipt if deeds cannot be recorded via Simplifile.
• Following up with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Tracking and ensuring all deeds are recorded accurately and on time.
• Managing deadlines to ensure all documentation is completed and recorded properly.

You’re Probably a Match If You Have:

• Proven experience in drafting and filing deeds, with proficiency in using Simplifile.
• Experience with certified mail processes and client follow-ups.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Availability to work in person at our Duxbury office.

About This Position:

• Full Time - 40 hours per week
• Hourly Compensation : Competitive hourly pay, based on experience.
