Fun, casual established brand is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our front-of-house operations in a modern Mexican scratch kitchen. The ideal candidate is a driven leader with a passion for exceptional customer service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service in a modern Mexican scratch kitchen environment.
- Lead and manage front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer experience and drive repeat business.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service between front-of-house and kitchen, maintaining consistency and quality.
- Monitor and control restaurant budgets, including labor costs, inventory, and overall financial performance.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and ambiance throughout the restaurant.
- Hire, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Manage and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve profitability and service quality.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant industry, preferably in a modern Mexican scratch kitchen.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house collaboration in a scratch kitchen setting.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in cost control, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Experience in managing a team and fostering a positive work environment.
