In this rewarding role, you will provide essential care and companionship, ensuring that our clients feel safe, valued, and comfortable in their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a home health aide is a plus.
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
