Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team in a dynamic and engaging role. The position involves working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM in a warehouse/fabrication shop environment. You will be responsible for operating and setting up press brake machinery to fabricate sheet metal products.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate press brake machines, including Accrupress 300 ton machine.
• Perform machine setup and machine operation tasks efficiently.
• Utilize cranes and forklifts to move large products safely.
• Read tape measures, calipers, and gauges accurately for precision work.
• Press brake large products and ensure high-quality fabrication.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of CNC Press Brake experience.
• Proficiency in using shear, press brake, tape measure, sheet metal, fabrication, CNC, punch press, and brake.
• Strong math skills and ability to read measurements accurately.
• Experience with CNC press brake and shear press operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with bending metal using press brake techniques.
• Familiarity with hydraulic machinery.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse/fabrication shop setting with access to cranes, forklifts, and advanced press brake machinery. This role offers a hands-on experience in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westport, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
