Purchasing Manager (HVAC, Plumbing, Piping)
The Purchasing Manager (HVAC, Plumbing, Piping) will be responsible for overseeing procurement, vendor relations, warehouse operations, tool and equipment management, cost tracking, and project support. This role involves ensuring that all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently and effectively, fostering strong relationships with suppliers, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities
- Assign appropriate cost codes and project numbers to all purchase orders and invoices.
- Monitor and track daily deliveries and scheduled shipments.
- Oversee warehouse operations and delegate tasks to warehouse staff.
- Collaborate with the accounting team for accurate billing, backorder resolutions, and credit processing.
- Manage and track large-scale purchase orders.
- Negotiate vendor pricing and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Manage tool inventory and coordinate equipment repairs.
- Set up and monitor rental agreements for tools and equipment.
- Attend project meetings to address ordering issues and provide budget updates.
- Oversee tool budgets for all projects.
- Manage the fleet vehicle GPS program for timely operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Strong background in vendor negotiations and relationship management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
