Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound General Sonographer is available, offering a unique role split between two leading medical centers. This travel position provides the chance to work with advanced imaging technologies and collaborate closely with specialized radiologists in both head & neck and general ultrasound procedures.

Location
Positioned in the vibrant healthcare community of Lynn, MA, this role includes assignments at two prestigious hospitals known for cutting-edge diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform head and neck ultrasound exams at one hospital, adhering to detailed scanning protocols.
• Potentially assist with ultrasound-guided procedures including biopsies and operating room guidance.
• Conduct general ultrasound exams at the partner hospital, covering routine imaging as well as specialized scans such as transplanted liver and kidney, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) of upper and lower extremities.
• Work with pediatric ultrasound cases is advantageous.
• Operate Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logiq 10 ultrasound systems effectively.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure quality imaging and accurate diagnostics.

Schedule/Hours

• Sunday 8:00 AM 6:30 PM (Hospital A)
• Monday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (Hospital B)
• Thursday 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (Hospital B)
• Saturday 8:00 AM 6:30 PM (Hospital A)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general ultrasound imaging, including head & neck and abdominal applications.
• Comfortable with ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures and OR imaging guidance.
• Familiarity with Philips Epiq Elite and GE Logiq 10 systems preferred.
• Pediatric imaging experience is a strong plus.
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate imaging protocols.
• Strong collaboration skills with radiology teams.
