Senior Data Engineer
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
- Senior Data Engineer will design and develop cloud-based data management systems and pipelines (Data Mesh)
- Ensure data security and governance compliance in all solutions
- Collaborate with teams to architect scalable, high-performance cloud data solutions
- Evaluate new cloud products and optimize data storage and processing
- Monitor and improve system performance; Implement optimization strategies
- As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead design sessions, review ETL requirements, and guide data layer development
- Integrate data using Informatica (IICS), Snowflake, SQL, and Python
- Document strategies and maintain timely delivery of solutions
- 5+ years in cloud data architecture, warehousing, modeling, ETL, and system engineering
- Expertise in AWS, Snowflake, and large-scale cloud data platforms
- Knowledge of Data Mesh principles, security, and HIPAA compliance
- Strong pipeline development and orchestration (Informatica IICS, Airflow)
- Proficient in Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and database/system administration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
