Applications Architect
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Applications Architect in Boston, MA. Responsibilities:
- Applications Architect will work closely with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements
- Translate requirements into conceptual designs incorporating software and system architecture principles
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, standards, and trends, and apply them to deliver innovative architectural solutions
- Oversee the application design process throughout the software development life cycle
- As an Applications Architect, you will develop comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, deployment plans, and environment details
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of programming and architecture experience
- Experience with healthcare IT, messaging standards (CCD/CCDA, CDR, XDR), and middleware (Rhapsody, Mirth, WebSphere, MQ)
- Expertise in Java/J2EE frameworks (Spring, Hibernate), .NET, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Angular, Python, Node.js
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming, SOA, and version control tools (GitHub, SVN)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in full-stack development and big data technologies (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Proficient in hands-on programming and API development (RESTful, SOAP)
- Ability to maintain code standards, test, and deploy applications
