Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Telecom Engineering Manager with certifications in Mitel , along with hands-on expertise in other telecom platforms. This role is responsible for leading the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of telecom solutions for our clients across various industries, with a focus on hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of telecom engineers in delivering high-quality voice solutions to clients.
- Oversee the deployment, integration, and support of Mitel, PhoneSuite, and other telecom systems in client environments.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, installers and project managers during project planning, implementation, and post-deployment support.
- Customize telecom solutions to meet client-specific needs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
- Manage telecom-related projects including system upgrades, migrations, and new installations for clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex voice network issues in client environments.
- Maintain detailed documentation for client telecom configurations, processes, and support protocols.
- Ensure all client implementations adhere to industry standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve client telecom infrastructure.
- Provide escalation support and act as the subject matter expert for all supported telecom platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in telecom engineering, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Mitel certifications required.
- Experience with other telecom systems.
- Strong understanding of VoIP, SIP, PBX systems, unified communications, and network protocols.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting clients in hospitality and multi-site enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cloud-based voice solutions and hybrid deployments.
- Familiarity with PhoneSuite.
- ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications.
