- Construct and install high-quality decks, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials with precision for accurate deck installations.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand client specifications and requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on existing decks as needed.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete projects efficiently.
- Communicate progress and challenges with team members and clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and service quality.
- Proven experience as a deck builder or in a similar construction role.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
