Fire Sprinkler Apprentice
Fire Equipment Inc. is currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Install Apprentice. The Sprinkler Apprentice will work with our licensed technicians on upgrade and installation projects, test, inspect and ensure installations are up to code.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Work on assigned customer sites for installation and upgrade projects on fire sprinkler systems.
- Work with wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, and fire pumps.
- Load/unload materials at job site.
- Stage and distribute work material to employees at job sites.
- Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs.
Qualifications
- Interest in pursuing a career in the fire safety industry
- Ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Reliable
- Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 75lbs
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Valid Drivers License
