Fire Sprinkler Apprentice

Fire Equipment Inc. is currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Install Apprentice. The Sprinkler Apprentice will work with our licensed technicians on upgrade and installation projects, test, inspect and ensure installations are up to code.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work on assigned customer sites for installation and upgrade projects on fire sprinkler systems.
• Work with wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, and fire pumps.
• Load/unload materials at job site.
• Stage and distribute work material to employees at job sites.
• Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs.

Qualifications

• Interest in pursuing a career in the fire safety industry
• Ability to follow through on assigned tasks
• Good communication skills, verbal and written
• Reliable
• Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 75lbs
• Basic computer skills

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid Drivers License
