Dog Walker and Pet Sitter

Wagalicious Walks, LLC is looking for responsible, caring and fun-loving individuals who genuinely love dogs to join our team of dedicated pet care providers! This is a year-round part-time position, Monday-Friday approximately 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Who is Wagalicious? Wagalicious Walks is a growing provider of outstanding dog walking and pet-sitting services. Our focus is on the safety and well-being of the animals in our care—and of our great people who care for them. We offer the highest level of service possible to our clients in Framingham, Natick, Sherborn and the surrounding communities. As a Wag Walker, you'll work with dogs of all sizes and personalities, spend lots of time outdoors and get in great shape. This is a wonderful job for people looking for mid-day part-time work, including retirees, stay-at-home parents, or people attending school or working part-time in the evening. We also have opportunities for boarding and overnight visits. Job Description

• Walk client dogs, monitor dog play groups, and transport dogs as needed
• Take dogs on off-leash adventure walks
• Pick up and dispose of dog waste and clean up accidents (they happen!)
• Provide water, food and medication as needed
• Care for cats and other small pets
• Communicate effectively with clients

Qualifications

• Available year-round Monday-Friday approximately 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and occasional holidays and weekends
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
• Able to commute to Framingham, Ashland, Natick, Sudbury, Wayland and surrounding communities
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable handling most dog breeds, sizes and temperaments (previous experience working with dogs a plus)
• Must have a mobile phone and email access
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Able to attend bi-weekly staff meetings
• Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
• Highly organized, dedicated and trustworthy
• High school diploma or GED required; college education a plus
