  • Maintain appropriate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the Transit Department to ensure vehicle availability and minimize disruptions to services.
  • Support facility maintenance needs as assigned.
  • Participate in seasonal and weather-related operations, including snow removal (plowing and sanding).
  • Safely transport individuals receiving services when needed, following all traffic laws and GAAMHA transportation policies.
  • Uphold all safety protocols and promptly report hazards, incidents, or concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, in accordance with HIPAA and GAAMHA standards.
  • Maintain flexibility to support operational needs, including occasional weekends and on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the mission and operations of the agency.
Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in motor vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required.

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug test, CORI, and fingerprinting.
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card preferred.
  • Must have own tools required for vehicle maintenance.

  • Experience with fleet maintenance software preferred.
Physical Requirements
