Emmaus is a private non-profit agency with over 25+ years of experience developing and operating shelters and supportive housing programs for homeless families and individuals. Emmaus is seeking qualified candidates for an opening for a janitor/housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc)
• Perform routine inspection activities
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
• Notify management of the need for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills

• Previous related work experience
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• High school degree
• MUST be able to read and speak English
• MUST be COVID-19 Vaccinated
