**Job Title: Battery Fabrication Specialist**
**Job Description**
Join a dynamic team to perform the fabrication of batteries through various processes in a cleanroom lab setting. This role requires reading standard operating procedures (SOPs), mixing and coating components, and operating equipment necessary for the mixing process. You will work collaboratively with a team of eight to assemble batteries and record data in a computer database. We are looking for someone who holds a bachelor's degree in a STEM field. This role will pay $30 to $35 for someone with this type of experience that has some sort of mechanical, electrical, chemical, or material science engineering degree. This will be a contract to hire position and you will be employed through Aerotek for the first 6 months of the job.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform battery fabrication processes by following SOPs.
+ Mix and coat parts throughout the manufacturing process.
+ Operate equipment used for the mixing of components.
+ Collaborate with a team of eight in the assembly process.
+ Record and manage information in a computer database.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
+ Ability to work with small components.
+ Comfortable working in a cleanroom setting.
+ Experience in a lab or quality control environment preferred.
+ Ability to read SOPs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with operating production equipment or assembly.
+ Proficient computer skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Work Environment**
The work environment embraces a startup culture where teamwork and passion are key. The team currently consists of around 60 people, with a production team size of eight per shift due to lab capacity constraints. Candidates will need to wear appropriate attire for the lab/cleanroom environment. Work hours are scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday with shifts from 6am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 11pm, and 9:30pm - 6am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woburn, MA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.
