Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available at an elementary school in Boston, MA, serving students from kindergarten through fifth grade. This contract role spans the entire school year and offers the opportunity to work onsite in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to integrate speech therapy goals within the classroom setting
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in staff meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development sessions
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license
- Experience working with K-5 student populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and school staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional growth
