Commercial Refrigeration Service Specialist
About the role
Picture a typical day: you grab a well-stocked service truck, review your first work order, and head out to a client site to bring a walk-in cooler or ice machine back to peak performance. Throughout the day you’ll diagnose issues, source the right parts, complete clean installations, and keep your documentation crisp and accurate. You’ll close the loop with manufacturers, dealers, sales reps, and customers to ensure every repair is right the first time.
What you’ll tackle
- Travel to various customer locations to troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration and ice-making equipment.
- Finish all required service documentation and job tickets with accuracy.
- Coordinate with the parts department to identify, order, and track precise components.
- Install replacement parts correctly and verify proper system operation.
- Keep your service vehicle clean and your tools/parts inventory organized.
- Work closely with manufacturers, sales representatives, dealers, and end users.
- Partner with OEM technical support when deeper equipment diagnostics are needed.
What makes you a great fit
- 5+ years repairing refrigeration and ice machine equipment.
- Background with gas, electric, plumbing, and/or steam systems is a plus.
- EPA certification required.
- Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
- Comfort juggling multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Proficiency with common hand tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
Schedule & pay
Monday through Friday — First Shift
Compensation: up to $115,000 per year, based on experience.
