We are looking for a curious, adaptable researcher who thrives in diverse problem spaces and enjoys learning new methods, tools, and approaches. You will support a wide range of initiatives, from foundational product experiences to exploratory research that informs future innovations. This role is expected to work in-person from WHOOP HQ in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary.

- Partner with Product, Design, Machine Learning Research, Hardware, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align on research objectives and support evidence-based decision-making.
- Synthesize research findings into clear insights and actionable recommendations that inform product development and member experience improvements.
- Lead sequential research projects while maintaining high-quality execution, clear communication, and stakeholder alignment.
- Explore and evaluate emerging research methods, tools, and AI-enabled workflows, helping expand the team’s methodological toolkit and improve research effectiveness while maintaining research rigor.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in User Experience Research, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience conducting user research in product, technology, healthcare, or other customer-focused environments.
- Experience independently conducting mixed methods research studies, including study design, moderation, analysis, and synthesis.
- Strong communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate research findings into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. - Experience using data and evidence to inform decisions, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Passion for health, human performance, behavior change, and WHOOP’s mission to unlock human performance and healthspan.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
Interested in the role, but don’t meet every qualification? We encourage you to still apply! At WHOOP, we believe there is much more to a candidate than what is written on paper, and we value character as much as experience. As we continue to build a diverse and inclusive environment, we encourage anyone who is interested in this role to apply.
