Quality Assurance Technician- 1st Shift

Quality Assurance Technician Location: Danvers, MA Pay Rate: $22.00 – $25.50/hr (Depending on Experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM The Role We are currently seeking a self-motivated Quality Assurance Technician to join our production team. You will be the primary line of defense in ensuring our manufactured products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. From raw material inspection to final product testing, you’ll use your technical expertise to keep our operations running smoothly and accurately. What You’ll Do

• Inspections: Perform dimensional inspections on raw materials, tooling, and finished parts using calipers, gauges, and mechanical instruments.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and QA plans to determine reliability standards.
• Compliance: Coordinate and maintain standards for ISO 9000 and specific customer requirements.
• Problem Solving: Review non-conforming products/processes and recommend modifications to improve quality and reduce losses.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed inspection logs, process tags, and rework documentation using manufacturing and spreadsheet software.
• Collaboration: Provide technical guidance to the operations team and communicate daily across all departments.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical Proficiency: proven ability to use standard mechanical inspection tools and interpret complex technical documents/blueprints.
• Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and warehouse methods.
• Software Skills: Experience with Manufacturing software (ERP/MRP), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and internal training.
• Adaptability: A highly organized individual who thrives in independent work environments and can manage multiple priorities with ease.
